Mark today as the start of the downfall of the WoW servers yet again, Blizzard has just announced that the closed beta test for Cataclysm has begun. The invites have already started and those with Blizzcon beta passes should already be able to cash in their golden ticket.
The focus of the new beta is to get feedback and develop the balance and content to the liking of the community, often the development revolves around the last open feedback call and misses the latest trends in the community. For those new to the expansion, Cataclysm takes players to devastated areas once familiar in WoW. In an effort to survive the Wogen and Goblins will join the fight between Alliance and the Horde as they come to face the Deathwing in a battle for all life.
As much as I hate to do it, I’m posting an iPhone game story. Honestly I’d love to pimp Android here and there but right now finding good games on the platform is like horrible horrible surgery.
Anyway. Ace Tennis 2010 hits the iPhone with native support for iOS4 and iPhone4, using tournaments, varied court composition, hitting strategies and more to keep players on their finger tips. With support for AI and online networks there is always a chance to change up the game.
Honestly, the game reminds me of when I had fun just messing around with sports games on the N-Gage, simple and fast action.
With the series still going (sorry I had a mind lapse there thinking it was over) lasers and portals and lions and tigers and… wait a minute. Nevermind. Anyway, lasers are a portal’s best friend in some cases, watch Chell drop reflectors to get through the latest challenge ahead.
We’re one step closer to holodecks and transporters, NZXT unleashes their latest accessory to the PC market today. The Sentry LXE is a touch screen LCD fanbus allowing users to dial in the speed of each fan; also maintaining other functions such as date and time.
The LCD is fully adjustable with the ability to disable the display when gaming to enhance the atmosphere. 5 thermal probes monitor active temps for hot pockets of air allowing for users to dial in the Sentry to provide more flow. The whole package is sleek and reminds me of a Star Trek interface.
The Sentry LXE will be in stores soon with an MSRP of $59.99
