Sentry down! Building a Sentry! Teleporter up! Okay sorry, I am a bit of a fan of the Engineer in TF2, from the start of the game I loved jumping each team further into battle. This week Valve has announced that the beloved Engineer will get a class update including new maps, items and achievements.
For loyalists still working hard in the warzone, golden wrenches will be given out to players creating their arsenal in the field. Anyone cranking out a Dispenser, Teleporter or Sentry will have a chance to score one of these wrenches between now and Thursday.

The gem of racing about a decade ago was Hydro Thunder, for the Dreamcast it was a next generation assault that had players in a wet world. The details and boats and multiplayer made it addictive for all to experience, today we get wind that the game will take a second wind for XBLA.
Hydro Thunder Hurricane is the first sequel, running on a new engine and graphics to make it a true successor while observing the features that made the original a success. Packing 8 tracks, single player modes, leaderboards and online support for 8, the potential of the new installment seems limitless. Coming in at 1200 Microsoft points the team hopes really capture the hearts of 360 owners in the Microsoft Summer of Arcade on July 28th.
With Def Jam Rapstar still months away, the crew wants everyone to keep the game fresh in the minds of everyone as E3 starts to fade away. As players progress the game rises in difficulty to leave only the strongest standing.
July 7 marks the launch of the latest shooter from Ignition Entertainment, Blacklight: Tango Down. The shooter brings futuristic combat and incredible amounts of weapon combinations to players, all while maintaining a $15 package price. Those familiar with Unreal Tournament and the Modern Warfare series will find themselves at familiar with some aspects of the game. Combat is fast and frantic much like the Unreal series, the loadout and selections are structured like a MW game.
I was able to preview Tango Down quite a few times this year, the game has an addictive quality for a dedicated online shooter. The Hypervisor allows for quick targetting while on the run, balancing out with no ability to go on the offense while it is activated. Custom loadouts mean that anyone can develop the best kit for each map. Those on the fence that are familiar with UT and MW should have no problem jumping into the action and ranking up in the virtual virtual combat field.
