Spartacus Season 3 gets two new faces

Spartacus fans rejoice! First, a Season 3 is coming which is a relief given how far this story has spun so far in Season 2. Now take a breath, Ceasar is coming to Spartacus next season and Marcus Crassus the general who battled the slave revolt by Spartacus. All of what we know in the series so far pales in comparison to the onslaught coming in the future, we can only hold tight and wait for the real intensity to flare up.

The back story as it pertains to the storyline we know currently:

Gaius Julius Caesar is a handsome young rogue from an esteemed lineage. His deadly intelligence and skill with a sword will be brought to bear against the rebellion. And Caesar will begin his ascent towards the all-powerful ruler he will one day become.

Marcus Licinius Crassus is the richest man in the Roman Republic. Envied and despised by the highborn among the senate, he craves the power and respect that defeating Spartacus and his rebel army would bring.

There’s no further word on Season 3 at this point outside of these character announcements but we expect to see more as the convention season goes into full swing with WonderCon this week. Keep checking back for our reviews and information for Spartacus from Starz

Battlefield 3 unveils Close Quarters Trailer and upcoming DLC

EA already hinted at this one but today we have video and details on the upcoming DLC package for Battlefield 3. Close Quarters acts exactly as noted and brings tight action to the game with new weapons and maps. For those who didn’t pre-order the game, this shouldn’t be any different from the Back to Karkand DLC pack that hit in December as it packs even more into an already expansive game.

Close Quarters going almost completely indoors is bound to bring up some tension, Ziba Tower is the demo video and honestly it’s beyond tense with destructive environments coming out of the woodwork. If you have a fear of heights or tight spaces this map will do anything but put those at ease. Explosions, damage and gunfire will keep anyone on edge as cover is shot to pieces of fragged into dust. It’s a sweet teaser for something coming out so far off in June, I’m sure we’ll have more glimpses as the DLC gets closer to release.

Details from EA:
