The final day of images are live, check out the gallery below. Cosplay, Collectables and more are all inside to close out the 5 days of madness that is SDCC. Also I fixed the gallery system (finally) so everyone can actually preview images instead of loading the raw files.
The winner of the LIMBO contest will be announced shortly, hopefully everyone participated that had interest.
It’s another barrage of pictures for the day, tomorrow marks the end of SDCC but we’ll have additional video clips and pictures to end out the event. Keep an eye out for our last big features in this convention season.
Also we’ll have handy impressions on Splatterhouse, Naruto Ninja Storm 2, Raging Blast 2 and Marvel vs. Capcom 3. “Bang bang bang!”
Back again with more shots from the show, today we feature stars from Burn Notice, White Collar, Psych and Dexter. Also there are some other random shots here and there from booth girls. Check it out and stay tuned for more.
Hey guys just coming in with the first batch of pictures from the show this year, from toys to cosplay to just cool stuff. We’re checking out panels and more this year, come back nightly for gallery updates and any panel coverage we can crank out after a long day of travel to SD.

A new generation has formed in the comic industry, forging their name in the digital realm and over small press, these artists strive to become the next generation in comics. SKYBOUND is a new division of Image Comics focusing on these creators and giving them a broader platform.
Kirkman will stand at the helm of the company picking the creators to participate in the group, overseeing the promotion and expansion of the talented creators in the pool. All artists will get full backing from the company in their medium and in expanded mediums including TV and Film across the globe. Image will act as publisher and distributor to SKYBOUND giving access to comic stores and channels nationwide.
The first SKYBOUND original will be Witch Doctor, those interested can catch it this week at Comic-Con 2010. The story focusing on a “sick world” where mythical creatures interfere with the natural order. Discovered from the internet, this is an example of exactly what the team is looking for in new properties. Skybound originals should start hitting shelves around 2011 so keep an eye out. We’ll have our attention drawn to see how it pans out.
Mattel is a king at Comic-Con, bringing the latest exclusives and creating massive lines and hysteria across the center of the exhibition hall. With collectors and fans crammed together to get the latest creations it is easy to forget that they have other plans for the show.
Here’s a breakdown of the features at the booth.

Hawaii Five-0 is back for the summer on TV, the reboot is set to capture the spirit of Hawaii with the same glamor and allure that the original had. While many panels are keeping tight about who will be present we have the full roster for the panel.
The Panel is set to take place in room 6BCF from 10:15 – 11:15am on Friday July 23rd. The team will be there to talk about the mythology behind the series and the new approach they’ll be taking with the show to keep it alive in today’s market.
Viz Media has a big announcement for Inuyasha fans, the company has launched three of movies on iTunes download-to-own (DTO) for $4.99 each through August 3rd. The first episode of Inuyasha is also now available for free on iTunes for those who have been on the fence about following the anime. For those already collecting the series or looking to transition to digital format, Viz has also released the remaining 166 episodes into the DTO queue for $0.99 each.
For those hoping to score a longer dose of Inuyasha for free, Hulu and Viz have partnered to bring the movie Affections Touching Across Time to web viewers for free until August 11th.
While collecting a series as large as Inuyasha has always been a pain on the wallet, it seems that today things change just a bit with the release of the entire series on iTunes. Hopefully other stores like Amazon and even the Zune marketplace will be able to secure something as well to give some freedom to the consumers.
