Right now I’m actually working on a lengthy new guide, the details I can’t reveal yet but I promise it’ll be quite in depth and handy. To have a taste of what I’m onto though look no further than this. Yeah that’s right, Santa versus some Martians.
I mentioned it in the AMC B-Movie posting but this really is something that needs it’s own mention.
Manos: The Hands of Fate is probably one of the most terrifying movies that I’ve watched, the dubbing, the cuts and the general story is just mind blowing and because of that I’m now posting it for anyone that feels up to it. This isn’t the MST3K version that most watch, there’s no comic relief, just a thought in your mind of “Make it stop already!!!”
Cheers everyone 😀
Streaming movies isn’t that new these days, but it’s often hard to find the latest hot spots worth checking out. Usually when I want a great B-Movie I often hit up Google Videos, a lot of titles manage to find their way over there and some are just awful. Today though I hit up AMC for my usual dose of TV catchup and found a series of B-Movies listed
The current lineup so far is this
The Hellfire Club
Saga of the Viking Women
Shake, Rattle & Rock
A Swingin’ Summer
Assassination in Rome
Carnival of Souls
College Girl Murders
Reform School Girl
Rock All Night
Corridors of Blood
The Horror of Party Beach
How to Make a Monster
War of the Colossal Beast
What a Carve Up
Creation of the Humanoids
Invasion of the Neptune Men
Planet on the Prowl
Terror Beneath the Sea
The Ruthless Four
Here’s to hoping they get some true winners like Manos: Hands of Fate in there, although honestly I think I couldn’t take that movie all the way through once again.
Also many apologies if these are beyond your regular B-Movie radar, some of these really kind of look like they’re gonna be grade A stink.
I don’t like to think of myself as a yogurt fiend, but I really can’t help but dive into a good cup when it comes around, this past month I got a local taste of the franchise Tutti Frutti and I have to say it was quite a refreshing trip.
The yogurt bar features a huge assortment of flavors to self serve, on top of that they have fresh fruit toppings and a variety of candies or cereals to throw on as well. Unfortunately I have no idea when I’ll find my favorite flavor as they’re pushing well over 10 unique selections all with their own great taste, right now I’ve worked through their orange cream, french vanilla, strawberry shortcake, death by chocolate, banana pudding, blueberry, strawberry banana and original and have yet to find something I didn’t like.
The flavors are impressive, the yogurt is sweet and rich when it needs to be, the result is that you get exactly what you’re aiming for and that’s absolutely amazing to have when you mix up some chocolate, banana and vanilla all in a nice bowl during a nice hot day and top it with some mochi. The better part so far is that the yogurt is consistent, it doesn’t come out watery or under-chilled, some places struggle to keep on top of that and instead deliver soup instead of an cool treat.
The company seems to have locations all over the place, the one that sprung up for us took over a doomed Carvel and Cinnabon franchise and hopefully it sticks around a lot longer because the other options aren’t nearly as impressive or close.
Also lots of thanks to the neighborhood store in Corona for their great discount coupons 😀 makes it even moreawesome to be able to go up and get about 16oz of yogurt for about $5.
Check out their website and see if one is near you, it would be great to find out all the potential flavors around given that they don’t have all of them on their website.
