The day has arrived of the first official trailer for Stephen Kings The Dark Tower, the trailer gives us a quick rundown of what’s to come in the theatrical release. We see Idris Elba as Roland “The Gunslinger” in action, pulling off some spectacular shooting in the trailer, The Man black played by Matthew McConaughey makes a brief appearance also. The majority of the trailer focuses on Roland and Jake Chambers (Tom Taylor) and how the two of them meet. It’s been awhile since I’ve read the Dark Tower books but form news of how closely Akiva Goldsman wanted to stay true to the books I’m sure this film will turn out just fine.
“Did you tell the kid, whoever walks with you, die’s by my hand”
Marvel has recently released its information on phase 3 movies to certain media outlets. In spirit of that Marvel also release the official Marvels Cloak & Dagger trailer on Freedom. The trailer gives us a quick run down of the shows tone, we also a get glimpse of on how Dagger (Olivia Holt) and Cloak (Aubrey Joseph) first met, Overall the trailer looks good and set to hit 2018.
Ladies and Gentleman Nintendo’s true next gen system the “Nintendo Switch”, in a nice little trailer that was drop early this morning. The trailer shows off the systems mobility, throughout the video we see it station like a traditional console or carried around like a handheld, the system also gave up a glimpse of some of its 3rd party games with Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim and NBA 2k.
The showing of 2 major 3rd party games in my opinion was huge; fans have express their disappointment for Nintendo’s lack of 3rd party games, but it seems like Nintendo tends to address this with this console and that’s great news, fans We also got a glimpse of a new 3D Mario, Legend of Zelda, Splatoon 2.
The release date for the Nintendo Switch is March 2017, from now to its official release Nintendo has to put all their attention to the systems marketing campaign they can’t afford to have another flop like the Wii U has become. If they keep dropping trailers like this one and bring along some strong 3rd party games I don’t see any reason for Nintendo to not be able get their status back as one of the Top gaming consoles along the side of Xbox One and PlayStation 4

Running around in the superhero business isn’t easy, gadgets, cars, jets and other equipment aren’t exactly easy to come across. Paybacks looks at the other side of the superhero world with what comes after your series goes bust or those great crimes turn out as pretty mundane. We see a vibrant cast of ex-heroes now acting as repo heroes that invade and reclaim all those wonderful toys and locations for their boss to help work off their own debts. It’s complicated to say the least but it carries a sense of action and humor that let it flow with sitcom quality.
Issue 1 of The Paybacks brings our team into the world of Night Knight and his amazing Unicorn. Saving the day while his mansion and secret lair get completely ransacked by the repo team. It’s a unique situation for sure, the lovely Night Knight isn’t quite a front-page hero although his situations are far from light-hearted or even innocent. It’s a welcoming introduction, pitting the classical hero pondering their profession and the world while they’re largely unaware of the rummaging through their estate until it’s too late.
Donny Cates and Eliot Rahal do a great job bringing the central characters to life while also slowly teasing the lives of the Payback team to readers, no one hogs up too much space to confuse the narrative and with the backstory coming in tidbits, it seems we’ll learn all about the team in due time.
Geoff Shaw and Lauren Affe bring to life the Night Mare and the world of The Paybacks, I think that’s how it goes… That said it’s a traditional presentation with sharper angles that accent the bodies and pages but it’s not so serious and rigid that punch lines and awkward moments can’t shine. The panels feel natural and the characters compliment the twists and quirks of the storyline as the moment itself catches them by surprise.
We’re only getting a tight sampling of The Paybacks in issue #1 but it’s enough to capture interest to see where this story and their radical lives and workplace hazards turn next.

Jennifer Walters Is….The She Hulk! A stalwart Avenger, valued member of the FF, savior of the world on more than one occasion, she’s also a killer attorney with a pile of degrees and professional respect. A 7-foot-tall drink of cool, emerald water, she’s tough enough to knock out Galactus with one punch (possibly?) and has a heart bigger than the moon. But juggling cases and kicking bad guy butt is starting to be a little more complicated than she anticipated. With a new practice, a new paralegal and a mounting number of super villains she’s racking up as personal enemies, She-Hulk might have bitten off a little more than she can chew…but she just calls that that Tuesday.
On January 10, 2013 Blue Core Studios is a New York based film and video production company release a short fan film called “Sonic” which is based on the popular video game and character. The film has a mixture of CGI and regular standard film footage. Fans familiar with the Saturday morning cartoon TV show also name Sonic should here a familiar voice. Actor Jaleel White plays the voice of Sonic in this fan film. The best thing about this short is the CGI, the effects are stunning and could be on par with a lot full length films.
