Aniplex of America has been on a roll for fans, this summer they’re bringing LiSA to Anime Expo 2012 as a guest of honor and likely as a concert feature as well. LOVER”S”MiLE (Limited edition CD & BD Combo) – SRP $50.00 | Store Price $40.00
LOVER”S”MiLE – SRP $38.00 | Store Price $30.00

Pre-orders for those who can’t wait will start this Monday on April 2nd at Right Stuf so be sure to check back or you might miss out on some of those goods.
For those unfamiliar, LiSA made her hits with shows like Angel Beats as the vocals for Yui when singing, also her single Oath sign was chosen for Fate/Zero which helped shoot her into stardom.
Huge title says it all but I’ll try to elaborate anyway.
Funimation just announced their releases for next week and fans will be able to get a dose of anime in box set form. Okami-San and Her Seven Companions is the first dose of goodness coming with a special mousepad to accompany you. Keep in mind the perk is in limited quantity so order early so you don’t miss out, check out the picture to the right for a sample of the art included on it.
For those unfamiliar with the story we have a brief synopsis:
Once upon a time, the studio behind Toradora! and Shakugan no Shana created a fable-minded story full of fairy tale tomfoolery, attractive archetypes, allusions to allegories, parodies of para—ugh, enough alliteration! You get my drift…
Ryoko Ōkami, the “wolf” of our story, and her BFF Ringo, also known as Little Red Riding Hood, are members of Otogi Bank—a high school club that helps classmates out of grim situations. One day, a meek young man proclaims his love to Ryoko, who does nothing but bite him in return. “You’re much too weak for me,” she huffs. So the boy joins Otogi Bank to prove he has the stuff to protect his beloved—even if it means taking a blow to the head with a lead pipe. He’s no Prince Charming, but will Ryoko allow herself to have her own happily ever after?
Not a bad setup but April 3rd also brings extra perks with Black Butler Seasons 1 and 2 in Blu-ray/DVD combo packaging. If you’ve been hoping for an HD experience with Sebastian and Ciel in HD then you’re in luck as it should be available through major retailers soon or if you’re eager to order right now just hit Amazon and Rightstuf for the goods.
If none of those grab your interest I suggest checking out the Funimation Amazon.com sale going on where titles are going over 50% off in many cases. Time to stock up while you can!
Aniplex has a treat for Madoka Magica fans on April 6th, because of the success of their last screening event they’re pushing for another shared event using their niconico channel. Residents in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Japan will all get a shot to view the episode for free. Of course you need to time it so you’re in the room when it all goes down. Check out the list below and be sure to stick through the whole event so you can catch the English cast in the room as well.
We have the news and we have the cool stuff to look at as well. Bringing you shots from the con of all the Cosplay I could catch today. Enjoy it and hopefully it motivates you to brave the rain and join us on the final day tomorrow of this amazing convention!
The picture above has set the internet on fire in the past day, first a domestic live action movie by Warner Bros and now rumor is floating of Ichigo’s saga coming to an end for animation as well. Given they just started the final arc of the manga it’s hard to believe they’re not going to stick it out, instead it seems the XCUTION saga will be the last battle we see before the show bids farewell.
The concern is that Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seishun Full Power Ninden is taking over the slot but to this point there was no exact word on where Bleach was going. For now it seems the 366 episode will cap off the show for now. One can only hope it faces a rebirth like Naruto Shippuden had and comes back strong for the final arc in the story with less filler. We’ll have to wait and see what happens for the fate of the show in the next month, hopefully the animation team will be able to lend some insight although with Hiroki Takagi posting and talking about it actively on Twitter according to Crunchyroll it’s not looking good.
Looking to hit AM2 this year but want to contribute your own touches to the show? Feeling up for helping con guests get around the floor the ACC? Check out their sign up page and see if you fall into their list for potential slots at the show this year.
