Sekirei: The Complete Series arrives in BD/DVD today

Funimation cranks out another box set for collectors today with Sekirei today, the Complete Series box allows fans to have it all in one simple package for under $30 on Blu-ray and DVD as a combo pack. Funimation notes that even fans who own Pure Engagement can slip this case into their collectors box for neat storage as well.

Those new to the series get a treat though as Funimation has uploaded a YouTube teaser and synopsis for those curious.

You’ve seen a million shows where heroes go toe-to-toe, now feast your eyes only the only anime where hot girls with super powers settle their differences chest-to-chest!

Minato had no luck with the ladies until the day a well-rounded warrior babe named Musubi fell into his life and crushed his face with her ginormous cleavage. Hunted by a stunning pair of twin sisters, Musubi was searching for the right guy to give her a squeeze and unlock the hidden powers lurking beneath her ample assets. Minato fit the bill, and now he’s caught in the middle of a supernatural slugfest where voluptuous vixens take turns beating each others’ clothes off! Only one of these bodacious brawlers will come out on top, but the unbridled excitement of watching them go at it makes this utterly-fulfilling series the breast action-harem anime of all time!

What would you do if you found out you were an ashikabi like Minato?

Judge Dredd and the Dark Knight return this December from DC

DC and 2000 AD are pairing up for a special collection for fans of the Dredd / Batman crossover of the 90’s, even if you weren’t a fan or familiar with the books then, it’s still a great opportunity. The stories written by Alan Grant and John Wagner showcase some great art from talent like Simon Bisley, Cam Kennedy and more. As a bonus, the crossover will come in a hardcover and get a digital release domestically and across the UK and Ireland.

Notable inclusions to The Batman / Judge Dredd Collection:

  • Judgement on Gotham
  • Vendetta in Gotham
  • The Ultimate Riddle
  • Die Laughing
  • Lobo / Judge Dredd

December is a while off and it gives fans plenty of time to debate if they pick it up on hardcover or just download it for super portability. DC should have more info rolling out on this in the future as we close in on the release.

Review – Bunny In The Moon: The Art of Tara McPherson Volume III

Art: Tara McPherson
Forward: Morgan Spurlock
Published By: Dark Horse

Tara McPherson’s third art book features the beautiful and breathtaking images that she has become synonymous with. This book really shows just how amazing of an artist McPherson really is. The book with a forward by Morgan Spurlock, is broken down into multiple sections ranging from paintings to materials, offering a very comprehensive collection in all mediums of her work. Each painting gives individual details such as size, materials and canvas types used. Also included are the original sketches which are then followed by the finished piece. There is a section on some of the posters that she has done for various bands highlighting how she’s really capable of doing just about anything (the Faith No More poster is…wow). One section shows Tara’s sculptures which I had no idea she even did, so this was a really awesome surprise. After going through the book I realized that Tara has such a unique style that when you look at her work it is unmistakably her, there is no confusing it with anybody else. To put it simply, the images are beautiful and this book is a must have for new and old fans of Tara McPherson’s work!

Release Date: March 14th, 2012

The Serious Sam Collection and a retrospective by Rich Knuckles

You thought you knew hardcore when you played MW for the first time, or when you managed your way into BF3. Fact is, you never knew hardcore at all because everyone seem to have forgotten about Sam… Serious Sam. The hardcore bastard with a love for killing everything that Mental can throw at him came back at the end of 2011 with a new game and tons of action for PC gamers. With BFE and the indie series already out for sale on various digital channels there was only one more thing Croteam and Devolver Digital could do, The Serious Sam Collection is a result of that.

Check out the video to get a full taste for how epic this really is. After that, head over to Steam and get in on the goodness because it’s that damn amazing.
