Praise for The Massive:

Wood manages to perfectly blend suspense and moral philosophies with geo-political brushstrokes to create one of the freshest books on shelves.”Complex

“Wood’s post-crash world is still just as big as it was before, and he continues to find intriguing ways to explore it, while building up enough history and characters within the context of the series to keep it exciting. The Massive…remains as interesting as it did when it began.” Comic Book Resources

“The Massive is a gripping read that should have no trouble winning over many readers to Wood’s newest creator-owned venture.”IGN

Yabia: Ninja Gaiden Z

A few days ago Team ninja and Dark horse are officially teaming up to bring a Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z comic series just months before the game debut. Yaiba Ninja Gaiden is one of the highly anticipated games of 2014 and rightfully so Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2 where stellar games that  received good reviews, NG 3 on the other hand was not well received as fans complaining that the franchise was starting to being too streamlined, So Team Ninja decided to start new and fresh ip with Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z.

Ryu Hayabusa & Yaiba Kamikaze face off

In YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z, players will battle fierce zombies as Yaiba, a cyborg ninja who will do anything to get revenge and stay alive. Cleaved in two, he is brought back to life with cyber-technology. Brandishing his ninja sword and the mecha weapons in his cyber arm, he slaughters zombies with brutal, over-the-top abandon. Step into a stylized living comic book where stunning graphics depict a world gone mad. Hordes of undead can only be stopped by Yaiba’s willingness to use any means necessary to get the job done

Will he kill by turning his cyberarm into a razor chainsaw for slicing up undead—or just rip off an opponent’s arms to use as zombie nunchucks? Both possibilities fill Yaiba’s heart with twisted laughter in this collaboration between famed developers Team NINJA and comcept’s Keiji Inafune.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 arrives on iOS this month!

Older console ports to mobile are becoming a trend, Marvel vs Capcom 2 is joining that list on April 25, 2012 with full action for fighting fans. The game is set to pack the full 56 character roster that made the game a hit in arcades and on consoles for so many years. No word remains on online multiplayer options or even how the control scheme has been designed yet but its safe to say this might be best experienced on an iPad over a standard iPhone simply for real estate space on your screen.

For those wondering, judging by the screens this is a port of the classic version of the game not the HD version found later on the Xbox, that should give some hints at how the mechanics will be balanced as well. Check out the gallery for more info and pick it up when it drops next week if you’re up for the challenge.
