If you haven’t been under a rock the last couple weeks JJ Abrams and company released the new teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens and from the responses of the many fans out there it looks as if JJ and company are on the right track. With the trailer being just over a minute thirty it showed just enough footage to let people know they’re bring everything fans loved in the past movies to the future.

You know you’ve made an impact when SNL does a skit about a 1:30 trailer, over 58 million viewers on YouTube watched the trailer with hype meter shooting through the roof let’s see if Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm keep this momentum up until December 18, 2015.

As for the plot nothing has been revealed as of yet only that it will be 30 years after The Return of the Jedi, the movie will also include the original cast such as Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa, and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, it also will feature a few new cast: John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis.

Down below are the original and a couple of spoof trailers I found amusing
