It was not long ago when Bethesda promised fans that Skyrim will add game changing updates Fans asked for certain things to be implemented in the game, one of those things where Mounted Combat since Oblivion fans wanted it but it never happened. When Skyrim was announced fans thought it would be part of the game already but that didn’t happened until now.
The Bethblog has mention that mounted combat has been added in the latest beta patch, plyaers can opt in and try in out right now by selecting Skyrim from the beta participation list on the accounts tab on your Steam settings menu
The patch also fixes a few glitches with the recently added ranged and magic kill cams, another feature added in a post-launch patch. We expected a bunch of post-release bug fixes, but these bonus features are a pleasant surprise. Grab a glance at the beta patch notes here.

So you’re a Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition fan. I bet you never saw 12 pages of update information in move by move and character by character form, all of this is coming at you for the next patch in 2012.
Because the team at Capcom didn’t want you to feel like they were holding out information, they’ve detailed every single change in such precise detail that no one will have an excuse to claim nerfed characters or hidden changes that aren’t really on that list. Get ready to have your mind blown with a huge PDF from the team.
What I can say from just a few initial browses, this list impacts every single move by every single character in the game. Amazing but a huge read, I would suggest focusing on the characters you commonly battle and use the most to avoid walls of details.
It’s been mentioned a million times already but Nintendo finally has their system update available now. There are a few new features rolling out but the biggest is 3D video recording, stop-motion recording, the upgraded eShop and the StreetPass Mii Plaza.
For those wondering about Hulu Plus. No sign of it yet in the update notes the shop or on Hulu itself, what was one of the most anticipated updates is still missing from the 3DS.
Here are a few special notes on the upgrade:
3D Video is limited to 10 minute bursts, most likely a buffer limitation
The eShop now supports credit to add the funds required
Download now or Download later are available for purchases on the fly
Download queues are now able to work while the system is in sleep mode
Find Mii and Puzzle swap see new upgrades in StreetPass Mii Plaza
Nintendo Zone support is expanded to over 29,000 3DS Hotspots
Netflix requires a subscription still ($7.99 base)
There’s a lot of functionality here but I think most of the attention will be toward Hulu Plus missing the boat again on the 3DS. Only time will tell is Nintendo is content with just Netflix on board and their internal video service or if they’ll make that leap finally.
The holidays are here and it’s time to get busy, while all the new releases slow down the team at Tripwire are here to bring Twisted Christmas 2 over for all the good little Killing Floor players from December 7th through January 4th. Packing new levels, music, and of course weapons it will keep players busy for the next month. To help stimulate the servers the game is also going on a free weekend on Steam from December 8th to the 11th so anyone can get a shot at all the new holiday goodness and the classic holiday enemies making a return.
For those curious on some details for the Twisted Christmas 2 event we have a few tidbits to share.

The Sharpshooter gets a shiny .44 Magnum revolver – good for dual-wielding for even more stopping power.
The Commando picks up a US Army surplus M-4 Carbine, with a nice, new red dot sight fitted.
For Demolitions, we’ve removed the sight and added the under-slung M-203 single shot grenade launcher. Wonderful all-purpose weapon!
Support Specialists can get their hands on a semi-automatic combat shotgun.
Berserkers can go all Scottish, with a massive two-handed Claymore. Perfect for the holiday season…
Following on from Horzine’s earlier experiments with healing darts, they have now provided the Medic with an MP5 machine pistol, mounting a dart-firing device.
Ripped from the arm of a dead Husk the Firebug gets his asbestos-covered hands on the fireball launching Huskgun!!! Charge this baby up and watch the zeds explode in a ball of flames!
Tripwire does warn that Baddest Santa will only be unlockable during this event so try to not miss out, with this being the second shot at obtaining him this might be a last shot at the unlock. If you’re curious for more information about killing floor check out the Holiday 2011 page.
