Possibly one of the most wicked games this year, Dead Island keeps it up in all areas with the release of their cover art for the game. Check out the gallery for full size images of the cover art on the PC, 360 and PS3, just be prepared for the full size onslaught. For those that are a little daring, it wouldn’t be hard to flip this into some nice wallpaper as well.

I’ll be previewing Dead Island at E3 with Deep Silver this year upstairs so I should have a full report after the show. It seems they’re just waiting out the next week before breaking anything too huge out of the box.

So it’s Thursday, and its Dead Island day on Bamfas. Actually that isn’t right, the past releases are pretty random and so is this post but I do have a point. Dead Island is coming and it doesn’t care if you don’t want to be half eaten alive, in fact it only cares that you see the latest pack shots available in our gallery!

Yes that might be the creepiest header on the site yet, but ignore that! Today the latest DLC for L4D and L4D2 has arrived with new maps and modes for all players. Check out the full sheet below. PC / Mac players can get the latest addition for free while 360 users will get the game later today for 560 points.

“The Sacrifice” is the prequel to “The Passing,” and takes place from the L4D Survivors’ perspective as they make their way South. In addition to advancing the story, “The Sacrifice” introduces a new style finale featuring “Sacrificial Gameplay” where players get to decide who will give their life so the others may live.

The Sacrifice DLC for L4D1 is a seperate download than The Sacrifice for L4D2.

In The Sacrifice for Left 4 Dead 1 gamers receive the complete Sacrifice campaign with maps playable in Campaign, Versus, and Survival.

In The Sacrifice for Left 4 Dead 2 owners receive “The Sacrifice” campaign playable with the Left 4 Dead Survivors. In addition, those with Left 4 Dead 2 receive L4D’s “No Mercy” campaign. Both campaigns are playable in Campaign, Versus, Survival, and Scavenge modes and both will feature the Left 4 Dead 2 Special Infected, items, and weapons. Yes, Zoey with a chainsaw!

Targeted for release on October 5th, “The Sacrifice” will be available for download on Xbox Live for 560 Microsoft Points and free to all PC gamers.

Ok this time we have a variety of shots from the latest level shown at PAX this year, the game is shaping up really well from the stills and limited video going around right now, hopefully we get a hands on preview as we come into November for the final piece of the puzzle.

Mark your calendars for November 17th as the day the infestation hits! PC and 360 owners can look forward to new characters and an updated arsenal including chainsaws, baseball bats, axes and your trusty skillet. No word yet if the George Foreman grill will make an appearance.
